Description

OMEGA's PX01 Series is a high accuracy, amplified voltage output, industrial pressure transducer. All stainless steel construction and a hermetically sealed case makes the PX01 suitable for harsh industrial environments. It is a true high accuracy industrial device. A broad temperature compensated range of 16 to 71°C (60-160°F) and excellent temperature compensation make this transducer very stable with fluctuating temperatures. The PX01 is available in gage, absolute or sealed models as well as PSI or metric ranges. NPT and 7/16-20 O-ring seal fittings are available for industrial and Hydraulic applications.

Consult sales for units available with Inconel construction.

Can I connect these to a DAQ system?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes these pressure transducers can be connect to a DAQ system. They produce a linear analog in mV, mA or VDC representing the level of gas of liquid pressure being measured.

We would like to measure the resistance between two Signal Pins (A and B) and also the resistance between the two Excitation Pins (C and D). What is the nominal resistnace values and will I require a standard input current?

Asked by: Scott73
Thank you for your inquiry for this transducer the resistance is not applicable. The current would be what is the factor. That should be above 22 ma.

Does orientation of the transducer affect the accuracy of the readings?

Asked by: LeeR
Orientation of this pressure transducer would have a minimum effect on the accuracy.

Can the transducer have a custom cable length? If so, what is the maximum available custom length?

Asked by: Bueskuit
Thank you for your inquiry. The PX01 Series in an older unit. We have newer sensors with better accuracy the most like would also cost less. Suggest your contact us a 1-800-826-6342 and ask for the Pressure group to discuss your requirements.

Can you please explain the maximum temperature compensation? I notice it states the max temperature compensation is at 71°C. What happens to the accuracy of the transducer if I exceed this temperature, say I am running my system at 85°C?

Asked by: SkylerStar
If you remain within Compensated Temperature Range the Zero and Span Thermal Effect will be 0.003% per Degree F change. If you are above the Compensated range the Thermal Effect will be greater. We do not have data for how much the shift would be when operating out of the Compensated Temperature range.

Where is the pdf for these? You used to have one listed.

Asked by: FrankM
Dear FrankM, thank you for reaching out, We are trying to get rid of PDF files and make them available on the web now. Here is a link from the older site you can still use though: https://br.omega.com/omegaFiles/pressure/pdf/PX01-I.pdf https://br.omega.com/omegaFiles/pressure/pdf/PX01-5V.pdf
